Alright Already!

This is for everyone that's been nagging me (and I do mean nagging) about my lack of blogging activity. :)

Career-wise, since my last post in October, I've survived my first busy season, and started reviewing for the CPA exam. I'll be needing lots of prayer!! Yesterday was my one year anniversary with Scanlan & Leo. Hard to believe. It's gone by so fast, but I guess that's life from now on!

Besides traveling to weddings in Greenville and Philly I haven't been doing anything exciting. My social life will most likely remain close to non-existent until I pass the exam.

Franklin is a year old, and still doing fine. We're being plagued by the 17-year cicadas this summer. I just bought my first computer, an HP Pavillion tx1120us. Don't worry, I'm not going to name it. My nephews are still adorable. Next I need a neice. I still don't have a dog. I still haven't been to Italy.

That's my life. Consider it blogged.

My Champ

Whenever there's an article on my homepage about cars that are "gas-efficient" or "a great value" I always have to stop and read to see if they mention Franklin, my Honda Fit. I love my car. Well, I've been disappointed many times, but I just tell myself he's just waiting for the perfect opportunity to steal the show... just layin' low for now... Well, FINALLY, I've found an article that begins to do him justice. Though I'm not keen on the terms "sawed-off station wagon" and "cheapie"... I prefer "adorable little hatchback" and "a GREAT value". Anyway, here's the article. Have a read.

    Brotherly Love

Philadelphia is where I spent my Labor Day weekend, and it was wonderful! I went to visit a few friends from school and do the touristy stuff. We spent most of Saturday around the historic district--the Constitution Center, Independence Hall, etc. I had an authentic Philly Cheese Steak, Rita's Water (or "wooter" if you want to pronounce it correctly) Ice, and Upside-down Pizza. Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I'll spare you the play by play. Here are a few pics from my trip.

Chatting with some delegates at the convention

James and Patrick decided to ratify the Constitution

Thanks for letting me stay at your house James! I had a wonderful time!
